The Homestead @ Turtle Creek was established in 1996 by Crystal Land Development. It lies just south of the Kerrville city limits and is adjacent to the Comanche Trace Golf Community and The Woods Subdivision. The Homestead is home to a diverse group of residents, with approximately 65 homes as of late 2020. The Homestead is comprised of lots which generally range between 1.5 to 2 acres. It is served by a private water system and all roads within The Homestead are privately owned by the HOA.
